What do I need to train to be a vet as a mature student?

Living in the UK - I am 26 years old and left school at 16 in order to travel, I am now looking at going back into education as a mature student and training to be a vet. What would be the best way to do this? Do I need A levels or is there an alternative access course I could do? And do you think I would get funding/grants/student loans to help me even though I am director of my own company (not that I take a regular wage from it), I would also love to hear from anyone who has any experience in this just how badly it affects your personal life, having kids etc. Thanks! xx

I recently found a male on top of a female toad in my pond. I have made a terrerium for a newt so I would like to put the toads in the terrerium for two reasons: 1, because I don't think they'd like to be disturbed and we have tons of racoons at our house and 2 becuase we are getting fish tomorrow and the fish will eat the eggs. I would only keep them in my house if they are quiet until they lay there eggs. (I will realease them once they have finished) So are toads quiet at night while having amplexus?

Tips for biking 30 miles to school (4x a week)?

You need a very good quality bike to commute that far every day. At your height, you should be consulting a good bike shop. Tall people can have difficulty ordering bikes online and finding a good fit. For that distance it would be very important that your bike fit you properly. A touring bike makes a very good long distance commuter as it has the proper fitting to mount a rack and to install mudguards which are almost essential if you ride in wet conditions. You absolutely need gears if your route is hilly, and you also need to have the tools you might need to repair problems you might encounter on the road. Riding that many miles, your bike will need frequent maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning. I commuted about 2/3 the distance of your commute 5 days a week for 25 years. On average, I spent $200-$300 per year on replacing parts that wore out. Tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, cassettes are all wear items that have to be replaced. Figure 2 sets of tires, 2-3 chains, a cassette and a set of brake pads every year. In addition your bike would need a full overhaul a couple of times a year which could be costly if you can't do your own repairs. You won't save any time compared to the bus, even once you are in shape you will probably spend at least 4 hours per day on the road. As for snow, it really isn't practical to think about riding that distance in sub freezing temperatures, and snow covered roads really slow you down, figure an additional hour each way on a snowy day. Winter also presents extra problems dealing with cars, they simply don't expect cyclists on the road, and days are much darker.

Does anyone know if you will be able to make your own magic staffs this time around? I saw so many complaints about that in morrowiind and oblivion. You can make all sorts of enchanted clothing, weapons, armor, rings and amulets but no staffs? What the hell lol. Will bethesda listen to their fans this time around or what?

Dog is making a "croaking" noise and throwing up a little ?

Well I see that you forbidden cards in harpies feather duster, pot of greed, and crush card virus. To make it tournament legal then you have to take those out. If not then there good cards. I suggest taking a few cards out so you are closer to 40 to increase draw power. With all your traps jinzo ends up hurting you more often then not. I would just take out lightning vortex, enchanted javelin, kuriboh, and dark armed. vortex because you have dark hole and vortex is a -1. javelin and kuriboh because they are not that good. dark armed because it looks like it is a major dead draw with your lack of dark monsters. Those suggestions are if you want to keep using most of the same deck. What i would do is turn the whole deck into a lv dragon deck. This puts emphasis on horus and armed. I use to run it so i know its good plus if your playing traditional format then it can be even better.

This isnt a very good deck. No theme. All good decks have a theme, i suggest that you completely start again and focus on a deck that suits you. Then buy a structure deck and build on it by buying individual cards.Finally, try and stick to 40-44 cards. This way you have a better chance of drawing what you need. Hope this helped :)

Badly need help with blue/white mtg deck?

Im running a Blue/White deck. Alot of Blue counters and mostly white flyers and enchants. Im looking for good blue creature spell to add in. I was looking at adding 4 Conundrum Sphinx but i have no way to scry in my deck for its special ability. It is still a 4/4 flyer for only 4 mana. Or i was thinking about adding 4 Phantom Warriors a 2/2 creature that is unblockable and 3 mana cost instead. If you have any better suggestions or can help me choose it would be most appreciated.

That's basically just the story of the frog prince, so why don't you look up the ending to that story, and get ideas from there? Maybe throw in something about environmental responsibility and promises that we as the dominant species need to make to the species that count on us. Also say something about how every species has a part to play in the ecosystem to help out other species. If a certain species went extinct because their habitat was destroyed, then other species would suffer as well (Use the frog getting the ball for the prince as an analogy for how we all need to co-operate between species).

Your favorite weapon in mw2?

My favorite weapon would have to be the ACR with red dot sight or holographic sight or even a scope on it. O and silencer is really good with the ACR. It is my favorite because it really accurate for far range. It almost like a sniper. I ve killed people from all the way across the map. It virtually has no recoil. Its weak close up combat but it makes up for its long range combat but im going to look into your class cuz it sounds really cool

Deflowering is usually a metaphor for something else, so the scene could work if it was sexual in nature. but then it would be kinda creepy to think the narrator was someone who loved her enough to tell her fairy tales. Usually you tell stories like that to young girls. It implies a little pedobear action going on there.

Viola tension problems?

I've had problems with the Kun rests lately too. I have one that I bought for my violin about 5 years ago, and I love it. It grips my violin really well and the foam is sooo comfortable! Last summer I bought a Kun for my viola, but I really don't like it. They use a different material for the feet now so it's always slipping off my viola, and they use a different foam now that's thinner and not as cushy and really uncomfortable! So I think I need to go back to my violin shop and try out some new ones, which you should do too. It's the best way to find out which one is the most comfortable. Some violists prefer not using one, but people with longer necks usually find this uncomfortable.

Rate and fix my FROG deck ?

I don't have a clue how to work FROG decks, but to me it looks like you might need more support cards to get what you need out on the field . For example, if you need ways of summoning monsters quickly, use Ultimate Offering or Double Summon. Take out Jar of Greed, it's banned (if you care about that sort of thing). Plus, take out mind control, it's effect is only useful for tributing and you need to play life points, there are cards that can do that kind of thing a lot better, like Mausoleum of the Emperor (if you are using it just for the control then still get rid of it, its pointless for one turn and you can replace it with something more useful) . Can't rate it because i don't know how this deck works. Hope this helps !

What character might be appropriate to audition for Macbeth, other than the characters in the play?

Audition requirement is a Shakespearean monologue not in the the Scottish play. I'm looking for a character that can very well portray characteristics of the witches and Lady Mac. I've thought of Ophelia. Her suddenly unhinged mind like Lady Mac, with the kind of enchanted spirit like a witch, but perhaps Ophelia isn't severe enough to be like these characters. Invasion of privacy in a college dorm?

Last time I checked, trespassing is illegal in all 50 states. Since your private dorm cannot in anyway be considered public property, that means the other student was trespassing. If the door was indeed unlocked, than there is no breaking and entering. B and E requires forced entry. In reality, there isn’t much of a crime here, however it should pose a big concern to college staff. I would escalate the situation to the Dean’s office.

90's movie involving magic, short old lady, young girl, love and a carousel. HELP!?

I'm trying to remember a movie I had seen when I was a child back in the 90's. The details are really blurry but I do still remember bits and parts but I would like to know the full name of it I'm not sure whether it was from the 90's or the 80's. It was a movie of a girl that wasn't too popular and she was in love with one of the "popular guys" at her school. She walks into a fortune telling shop and the lady seems to grant her powers?? I would join I.A.T.S.E. {the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees}. They do alot of stuff with stage hands, stage production and you may be able to get your foot in the door if you have a real good resume. You will meet all kinds of people who actually work on movies here in Vegas.!! Or start out as a movie extra like I did. I was in Con Air, Honey I blew up the Kid and and CSI . Can I Be denied a job b/c of my Credit?

I was just offered a job at a hospital...the HR director called me and said "I would like to offer this position to you". I was so ecstatic. Then she tells me that I would have to do a physical. Okay, Im thinking drug screening, blood work, etc. But I just got a "welcome" packet in the mail and in it, there is a FCRA form for me to sign. What does this mean? Is my credit going to be checked? Problem is, I filed bankruptcy 2 years ago. Can they rescind my job offer? would they really do that? I was never told I had to have a certain credit score to work for them, sounds crazy to thnk about really b/c im certified and qualified for this position! Anyone w/any experience? I would have rathered they checked my credit when I first submitted an application instead of me going for an interview and then being offered a job!

I was in a musical theater class for 3 months, and then in a rock band for about a year. I constantly belted in these situations. I know I was using the wrong technique, because my throat hurt and my voice cracked. Now, whenever I sing in the middle of my range, my voice will randomly slip and make a kind of croaking sound. I have to sing quietly in this range and can't crescendo at all, or else my voice slips. Did I damage my voice? Is it permanent damage, or can I fix it?

It might be a case of TMJ which is not really something to be scared about. TMJ is just a misalignment of you're wisdom teeth and can cause your ear to pop a lot and also cause you to yawn really frequently, have headaches, and your jaw to pop as well. I'm not sure if you have all those other symptoms as well. I have TMJ and this happens pretty frequently to me as well only instead of a popping sound it's more like a squeak or whisper sound lol.

Are temperature fluctuations bad for my fish?

I have a 5 gallon aquarium. I bought it as a kit. I currently have 2 small 1-2" fish. At room temperature (no heater) my aquarium hangs at a constant 78 degrees. the tank came with a 15 watt clear incandescent bulb. I usually turn the light on during the day (8am-8pm). The light puts out a decent amount of heat and the temperature in my tank rises to just shy of 82 degrees. 78 degrees is an ideal temperature for my fish. While 82 degrees is just barely still in the comfort zone for my fish, I am worried that this 4 degree fluctuation in temperature every 12 hours is bad for my fish. They are new and still getting used to the new tank. I don't want the shock of temperature fluctuations to cause them to croak. Does anyone know if this fluctuation is harmful for the fish? Is there any type of aquarium bulb out there that can screw into the same socket as incandescent yet produce less heat? Currently have albino cory and xray tetra. Plan on adding one additional small fish. Anyone please help. I don't want my fish to die. Is there anything I can do other than lower the temperature of my home. I would also prefer not to have to keep a fan on it during the day. Other than temp, other factors are normal. Ammonia 0, nitites 0, nitrates <5, and my fish seem to be doing ok. I used to download lots of data over the internet. I thought that its better to keep a back up of all my data. So, I manually copied all my 1TB files to my external hard disk. I got the program TSS 7 director, but I'm also a Spanish speaker person, so I also got this spanish voice pack for Loquendo from a friend. It is a very good start. It is nice to hear a happy one for a change.The only thing I would say is you do not need to describe every little detail, it just confuses the reader. I liked the fact that you did not know all about the two characters but you have given away just the right annount of information. However try not too say so much about the eyes of the character. Sony cyber shot video upload problem!!?!?

Fresh water fish aquarium?

Okay, here's my dilemma, I just spent $50 on fish and 3 out of 4 are dead within a 36 hour period. We set up the 10gal tank on Sunday and let the filter run and the heater and we conditioned the water. We waited 3 days before we put fish in it. We let them float for 30 mins before we put them in. We cleaned the rocks by letting them soak in water about 20 minutes, we dont overfeed them, the tank is not dirty. They didnt kill eachother. They looked fine. We are now down to one and he looks fine, but so did the others before they kicked the bucket so Im sure its just a matter of time before the last one croaks! Help please, where did we go wrong?

Hi, my name is Sophia and I am 13 years old. I am going to the 8th grade. I am in band and I am in fact, a band geek. So, past year I was in the second to last band (out of 6). There are three band teachers, two guys and one girl. I really admire the two guys, the girl I don't talk to that much, but she still means a lot to me. So, the majority of the school year, I didn't talk to them that much. I was just another flute player. That tore me apart because they inspired me and I was admiring them secretly and I didn't know how to start talking to them because I was very shy. The last few weeks of school, I started joking around with the two guys, (ex. So, I had my band audition about two weeks before school ended, and I did really really good. I ended up being in the second band. I was the only person to move up that much, and I noticed that they started favoring me. The lady (the person who heard my audition) even came up to me and congratulated me. I was really happy because I thought that she didn't like me. On the last day of school, after we were dismissed I ran down to the band hall and gave them each a letter telling them how much they mean to me. After I handed them the letters I ran out because I thought I was going to miss my bus but I didn't realize that was the last time that I was going to see them for three months. I cried when I got home. And I realized if I was crying over three months, how was I going to feel when I left 8th grade and went to high school. I know I'm going to be tore apart and I know some of you are you going to say "don't think about that now, you still have a year.' But if I forget, it will hit me extremely hard when it happens. So, what do I do? I miss them enough already, and it just breaks my heart that I have to leave some day. And I think since they read the letters, that I will get closer to them next year. I love them so much and they mean the world to me and I would do anything not to leave. I know this was kind of scattered, and I'm sorry about that but I think you got the point. Thanks!!! It really means a lot. And please don't say I have a crush on them, because I don't. And I should add this, the band teachers each have two bands, a high one and a low one. Make sure all the carts click into place. While the carts are out check again that there is no paper jammed, sometimes there will be a small piece that is not so easy to see.

I relocated my 135 gallon fish tank this morning. I started by draining over 50% of the water into tubs to be reused. I put all my ciclids (7 total) into a tub until I moved the tank. Sony cyber shot video upload problem!?!?

How do I prepare the Enchant Seed spell on the Sims Medieval?

I'm playing the Squirrel Infestation quest on the Sims Medieval with my Sorceress Amalthea (Level 10). I had earlier attempted to play the dragon quest or whatever but I failed due to the point my 'Target" mysteriously disappeared and was never seen again. This left me with the Friendship spell but I'm unable to cast it. This poses multiple problems 1. that I have a spell I can't cast, and another that in this new quest, the Friendship spell and the Enchant Seed spell have the exact same ruin combination. So every time I attempt to make the Enchant Seed, it will only make the Friendship. When I already have the Friendship, it tells me that I've already made this spell. It's so frustrating! I don't want to quit the quest but I need help figuring out how it will except that I want the Enchant Seed!

I am in a town summer production of "Footloose". Everyone can participate ages 7+. In last year's production of Bye Bye Birdie, I was cast in a large group role: with LOTS of little kids. This year I was cast in that same general group role as a townsperson. I am 14 years old. I am going to be a freshman next year. I went to the first rehearsal and I honestly felt like I was babysitting. They even said on the website that kids ages 7-11 could leave at 8:00. I asked if I had to leave or stay because I had the same part as them. They said I could leave, too. This made me a little angry: I was cast the same thing as the sevenyear olds. I am just about the only one my age. And the kids my age are in the teen choir. I worked really hard for the audition, did better than my friends, and prepared a solo piece and they got a better part than me. I know that I should be happy that I got in (with EVERYBODY else) but honestly I want to be challenged. I'm a born soprano and the stuff we're singing is like monotone alto. Would it be fair to ask the director if it's possible to put me in the teen choir instead? I'm a good actress and singer, but I didn't understand their decision. If I do ask, what do I say? I've had 7 people tell me today to say something about it but I don't feel like I'm in the right place to complain about it. Then again, if i I don't say anything, the play will be ruined for me. I Would Like To Be A Director Of My Own Screenplays, But How So?

I would like to a film director (example: George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan) and someday I would want to direct films that I have written. I have already thought out of what university I will be going to and it is USC, which I am already in a good position to get in. I have been looking at some directors' work on IMDB and Wiki. That most illegal-immigrant headed households get one or more public benefits is not surprising since they earn low wages and many get paid in cash, which doesn't have to be claimed on assistance applications since it's unreported income. In my community a fair number of fathers earn $20+ an hour, paid in cash so that employers don't have to pay payroll taxes or workman's comp. Combined with monthly benefits paid on behalf of US-born children, these families live comfortably. My notion of illegal immigrants as dirt-poor was shattered after seeing parents drive up in newish SUVs and trucks to drop off their children for a free breakfast. The solution, however, is not to deport these parents but to target employers who cheat on taxes by paying cash. We also need to reformulate all public assistance to treat it as a family benefit and to make it TEMPORARY to tide by families during a hardship like a layoff or illness. Regardless of legal status, no household should be able to collect for years, but in this country we have entire neighborhoods of households sucking on the government teat.

Okay so I have a performance in like an hour And I have two blisters on my heels from my pointe shoes.
