Favorite male directors: Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, John Ford, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, and David Lean are just a few of mine to name. As for female directors; Kathryn Bigelow (hurt locker was an exceptional film), sofia coppola (not great but has potential),. There aren't many female directors and honestly I wish there were more that I could add. But anyways, what are your favorite male and female directors?
