How do I prepare the Enchant Seed spell on the Sims Medieval?

I'm playing the Squirrel Infestation quest on the Sims Medieval with my Sorceress Amalthea (Level 10). I had earlier attempted to play the dragon quest or whatever but I failed due to the point my 'Target" mysteriously disappeared and was never seen again. This left me with the Friendship spell but I'm unable to cast it. This poses multiple problems 1. that I have a spell I can't cast, and another that in this new quest, the Friendship spell and the Enchant Seed spell have the exact same ruin combination. So every time I attempt to make the Enchant Seed, it will only make the Friendship. When I already have the Friendship, it tells me that I've already made this spell. It's so frustrating! I don't want to quit the quest but I need help figuring out how it will except that I want the Enchant Seed!
