Am I a normal female person?

I have work with hundreds of young people and, yes, you are "normal". Some people develop social skills and confidence when they are 8, and other, not till there 28. We're all different. The main thing is to be yourself, and not to try so hard. Watch others and learn. Don't question yourself so much. Just do what you do, and enjoy life...which isn't always that easy at 13. But, things will change for the better, I promise...especially as those around you mature as well. They won't always be self-centered and thoughtless. This is why they created middle schools in the first place. Start by not sleeping-in and missing school. It's not that school is so important, but more a question of facing life and not trying to escape the situation. You'll develop your social skills faster by watching others. Take your time and try not to be afraid of the would. They call you special because they love you, and know you're struggling a bit, and they want the best for you. It will come, I promise.
